How to Stop Waking Up In Jail Cells and Start Waking Up in Paradise

I used to wakeup in jail cells now I wake up in paradise. Physically and Mentally.


Maybe your life isn’t up in flames like mine was. Maybe you aren’t waking up in a jail cell physically, but is there an area of your life where you have felt imprisoned?

Are there parts of you that feel stuck and you feel that you can’t make any improvements?

Perhaps losing weight or starting your business makes you feel stuck.

I know exactly how it feels to feel incarcerated by my own mind. Let me tell you, it is no walk in the park.

I also know that to transform that jail cell that is holding areas of your life as hostages into paradise, you must do it consciously in every single moment.

  • Practice during the hardest moments. It is in the hardest moment when you feel like you can’t go on any longer that you should practice strength. It is in the moment of anger that you should practice peace.  It is also in the toughest moment of lack that you should practice feeling the abundance that surrounds you.
  • Breathe through the hard times and in the midst of them, have faith that better times are to come if you stick to your strength practice.
  • Live in the now. During a moment of “weakness” be fully present to allow yourself to be in control. Not your fearful thoughts or negative emotions, but you.

Transformation is made up of small painful moments that we have had the courage to transform into moments of strength.

It does not happen overnight. 

It takes endurance and perseverance and you have it in you to do it if you so desired.

Sounds a bit on the dreadful side, no?

Here is the secret.

After every moment of strength that you are able to conquer celebrate. 

Yes, this may have been one tiny ity-bity baby step forward, but it is a baby step worth celebrating and it counts as a milestone.

Celebrate your transformation. Celebrate your hard work. Celebrate in a healthy way that only you know how to do.

Often times we don’t give ourselves enough credit. We fail to recognize our successes. Our brilliance.

Take action right now in this very minute and reflect on how far you’ve come in life. Rejoice in the progress you have made. This practice alone stimulates your mind and encourages you to keep moving forward.

With this simple positive reinforcement strategy you communicate to your mind that the type of progress you have made is good and your mind will rewire to help your transformation become a smoother ride.

Have fun turning your jail cell into paradise. Change doesn’t have to be this daunting hard process. It can be fun and exciting and full of possibilities for paradise if you allow it to be.  Remember:

“Today you don’t have to be perfect, just be 1% better than you were yesterday.”
